Dr. Caroline Seger
Dr. Caroline Seger received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude in Biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree summa cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she served as president of the Southern College of Optometry Lions Club. Dr. Seger began working at VisionFirst during college as a technician before pursuing her career in Optometry.
Dr. Seger practices full scope optometry for patients of all ages, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, and co-management of pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery. She fits all major brands of contact lenses, including those that correct for astigmatism and multifocal lenses, as well as specialty contact lenses. Dr. Seger also specializes in YAG capsulotomy, a procedure to remove secondary cataract.
Dr. Seger is a member of the Gold Key International Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, American Optometric Association, and Kentucky Optometric Association. In her free time enjoys exercise, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
