We had a GREAT turnout at the open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at our new St. Matthews location earlier this month. We welcomed everyone out for free coffee, pastries from the local and renown Plehn’s Bakery, fun prizes, and more.
Located at 285 Hubbards Lane, our team at this location is centrally based in the St. Matthews neighborhood right across the street from Kroger and Target. The opening of this office now means that we have 15 offices throughout Kentuckiana and makes our business the fastest growing locally-owned eye care practice in Louisville!
Dr. Koopman and Dr. Lannon will be serving our patients at this location. They are VERY excited to be in this office serving this community as you can see in their faces as they shared a few words with guests at the Ribbon Cutting.
Valuable EyeCare Now Located in St. Matthew’s with VisionFirst
We have overseen the complete renovation of the building leading up to our grand opening, which was officially March 5th. The office features a stone mosaic wall that will be noticed first upon entering the building. We hope this natural artwork along with the clean, modern features will impress every patient who comes to this location and that the familiarity of our unbeatable customer service will be welcoming.
As mentioned above, Dr. Koopman and Dr. Lannon will be working at this location. We asked Dr. Lannon her thoughts on this new opportunity and she said, “I am truly looking forward to bringing the VisionFirst family to the St. Matthews area! I cannot tell you how many people I have talked to who are excited to have our high-quality eye care and customer service so much more accessible. These are frequently people who, up until now, have been willing to travel all the way across town to another VisionFirst office and will now have an office conveniently located to meet their needs. We are very excited to be located by some really great local businesses in St. Matthews. Especially the restaurants. Many of you may find it very familiar. We’re right by the neighborhood Kroger. Don’t be afraid to stop in, say hi, and see the building for yourself! Some of you were able to see it on a bright Thursday morning when we held a ribbon cutting ceremony. Dr. Lannon and Dr. Koopman cut the ribbon with the traditional large scissors, which was a grand display! We were thankful to have the St. Matthews’ mayor as well as a representative from Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer’s office. Together they declared to the audience that the date, March 8th, would be known as VisionFirst Day. Isn’t that fun?!
