About Dr. Bloemer
Dr. Daniel Bloemer received his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where he graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Bloemer practices full-scope optometric care ranging from comprehensive eye exams to pre- and post-operative care for cataract and vision correction surgery. He also has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, as well as urgent care. Additionally, Dr. Bloemer fits all major brands of contact lenses, including those that correct for astigmatism and multifocal lenses. Dr. Bloemer is also YAG Capsulotomy certified, a procedure for clearing secondary cataracts.
Dr. Bloemer is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Kentucky Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hiking, and kayaking.
