About Dr. Houston
Dr. Josh Houston received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Dr. Houston practices full-scope optometric care ranging from comprehensive exams to diagnosing and treating ocular disease for all ages. In addition, he provides pre- and post-operative care for cataract and vision correction surgery.
Dr. Houston fits all major brands of contact lenses including those that correct for astigmatism and presbyopia and he has a particular interest in fitting various specialty contact lenses such as gas permeable and scleral lenses for patients who cannot wear conventional lenses.
Dr. Houston is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association. He is originally from Ohio but has made Louisville his home. When not working, Dr. Houston enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and anything Ohio State.
