Our Doctors
At our Middletown location, we have two caring and experienced doctors: Dr. Kristen Rabaut, and Dr. Derek Wilder. Both of our doctors practice full-scope optometric care ranging from comprehensive eye exams to pre- and post-operative care for cataract and vision correction surgery, and they also fit specialty contact lenses. All of our doctors are members of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Kristen Rabaut received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her Doctor or Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She received additional training in the management of refractive surgery, pediatric eye exams, and the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision anomalies. Dr. Rabaut also fits all major brands of contact lenses including contacts for astigmatism and multifocal wearers. She is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Derek Wilder received his undergraduate degree in History from Wabash College and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He specializes in diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and fits all major brands of contact lenses including contacts for astigmatism and multifocal wearers. Dr. Wilder is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association. In his spare time, Dr. Wilder enjoys hiking, golfing, working on home improvements and visiting new restaurants in the Louisville area. He loves rooting for the Indianapolis Colts and his beloved Indiana Hoosiers, as well as learning to love U of L and UK basketball.
