Dr. Andrea Sandifer earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Microbiology from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Pikeville: Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Dr. Sandifer practices full-scope optometry care for patients of all ages, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and co-management of pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery. She fits all major brands of contact lenses, including those that correct for astigmatism and multifocal lenses. She has a special interest in dry eye treatment. Dr. Sandifer is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Kentucky Optometric Association, and the Indiana Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Sandifer enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
