Dr. Buchanan attended Indiana University for a Bachelors in Science. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University College of Optometry in 2008.
Dr. Buchanan practices full-scope optometric care, including comprehensive eye exams, treating ocular diseases, and pre and post-op cataract surgery care. She considers fitting contacts her specialty and favorite thing to do. Dr. Buchanan is a vision care problem solver. If you have a vision need or eye issue, she will work with you to solve it. Dr. Buchanan loves to do pediatric exams as well. She has two children of her own: Addie age 12 and Grayson age 7.
Dr. Buchanan is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Buchanan can be found coaching youth sports in her community or hitting the trails with her husband of 19 years.
