Dr. Rebecca Adams earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Adams found her passion for vision care through a medical mission trip to Costa Rica and was a technician at VisionFirst for several years before attending optometry school.
Dr. Adams practices full-scope optometry care, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and co-management of pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery. She fits all major brands of contact lenses, including those that correct for astigmatism and multifocal lenses. She also has a special interest in pediatrics. Dr. Adams is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Adams sees patients at 5023 Mud Lane, Suite 110 in Hillview, Kentucky next to Zaxby’s and 2110 South Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville.
