
Dr. Rallo attended the University of Louisville and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Rallo is a past president of the Louisville Optometric Association and has been in practice from 1980 until his retirement from seeing patients in 2025. While seeing patients, Dr. Rallo practiced full-scope optometric care from comprehensive eye exams to pre- and post-operative care for cataract and vision correction surgery. He also had expertise in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases. Dr. Rallo also fitted all major brands of contact lenses, including contacts for astigmatism and multifocal wearers. In addition, Dr. Rallo was able to fit specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Rallo still serves on several boards, including Open Door Ministries and the Alumni Board at the Southern College of Optometry. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association. Dr. Rallo enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and traveling.
Dr. Rallo retired from patient care in April 2025; however, he continues to serve as the medical director for VisionFirst and remains heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.
