MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

VisionFirst Eye Care

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from VisionFirst! As we enter into the holiday season, we hope that you will get the chance to break away from your busy schedule to spend time with your family and loved ones.

This is so important to both your well-being and your productivity in the upcoming year.

Make sure to take some time and reflect on your life and what you want to accomplish in 2016 and get a clear vision! People who visualize their goals tend to achieve them, and we want to see those we work with become the best that they can be!

May 2016 be the best year yet for you!

As we reflect on the past year, there is truly so much to be thankful for! We have gotten to work with so many amazing patients and hire new incredible members to our team. God is so good and so faithful to provide us with what we need when we put our trust in Him. We want to challenge you to be more thankful in 2016. Here are five ways you can do that.

Five Ways to Be Thankful All Year Round

1) Count your blessings

Do you ever have a moment where you catch yourself overreacting to something that, in the big scheme of things, just really isn’t that big of a deal? We all do. In our abundant society, most of our “problems” are small in comparison to those of people living in poverty in other countries. We’ve all seen the statistic that if you are in the bottom 10% in America, you are still richer than most of the world. Keeping this in perspective will change your mindset, which will make you happier overall. Focus on what’s going right! There is a lot to be thankful for.

2) Keep a journal of things you are thankful for

Many people benefit from keeping a journal of things that they’re thankful for. Some people are reluctant to try this because they think they will run out of things to write after a few weeks, but the opposite is true. The list continues to grow! If you take a few minutes at the end of each day to write down three things that happened that day that you are thankful for, it will change your life.

3) Give back

Dave Ramsey, a wise financial advisor, said, “Make your lifestyle smaller than your income so there is always overflow.” Giving back to people in need puts things in perspective for you and teaches you to be content with what you have. You will be much happier when you make service a priority in your life.

4) Give God what He asks of us

He asks us to give back to Him the first 10% of our income and promises to bless us abundantly when we do! (Malachi 3:10) If you’ve never done this before, maybe 2016 is the year to give it a try! Acknowledge God with your money and see if He doesn’t bless you for it.

5) Invest in your relationships

When we make people a priority over things in our life we are much happier and healthier. Having good relationships will put things into perspective for you and help you to realize all that you have to be thankful for. “The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the quality of your relationships.” —Anthony Robbins

For those of you who have been involved in helping us make our business thrive and to those who have been a friend to us over the years, we thank you! Know that you are appreciated and loved by the VisionFirst family this holiday season.
